The FISU World University Games – also known as FISU Universiade – is a multi-sport event staged every two years. This celebration of international university sports draws thousands of student-athletes together to compete, making it among the world’s largest and most prestigious multi-sport events.
The FISU Universiade is, however, not only a major sporting occasion, but also a multi-faceted, intercultural event. With its origin dating back to 1960, the FISU World Conference is a core element and the academic highlight of the Universiade. The FISU World Conference creates a platform for interdisciplinary scientific exchange and stimulates research and creativity beyond the scope of academia.
Changchun 2027 FISU World Conference is hosted by FISU, and is organised by the Executive Committee of Changchun 2027 FISU Winter Universiade and Jilin Sport University.
The organising committee of the conference will invite representatives from international authoritative organisations such as UNESCO, IOC, FISU, and high-level academic experts and Olympic champions to attend the event, sharing the most advanced and cutting-edge academic resources and promoting the integration and innovation of university sports science research. We welcome all experts and scholars who are engaged in university sports and related research fields to participate in this conference.
